Arauz Law, PLLC is led by Andrea Arauz, Esq., a dedicated attorney with deep expertise in Florida Sales & Use Tax matters. Ms. Arauz is committed to protecting the rights of businesses and individuals, particularly Spanish-speaking clients who often face unique challenges when navigating Florida’s complex tax system.
A proud Miami native, Ms. Arauz graduated from St. Thomas University School of Law and the University of Miami. She refined her legal skills through distinguished academic work, including serving as President of the Tax Law Section, volunteering with the IRS Volunteer Income Tax Clinic, and clerking for the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Court with the Honorable Celeste Muir.
Ms. Arauz began her career as a Sales & Use Tax Associate at KPMG, LLP, one of the world’s largest accounting firms, where she spent over five years handling complex state tax consulting and compliance matters for Fortune 500 companies. She further expanded her expertise at a boutique Florida Sales & Use Tax law firm, representing businesses in audits, disputes, and claims against the Florida Department of Revenue. Her work has provided her with extensive experience, sharpening her ability to advocate for taxpayers whose voices are too often overlooked.
In addition to her tax practice, Ms. Arauz proudly serves as a Judge Advocate in the Florida National Guard, now holding the position of Brigade Judge Advocate for the 50th Regional Support Group.
